Ruarts gallery x Inloco, Moscow, Russia
In February 2025, Dusto’s first solo exhibition was presented by Ruarts Gallery together with Inloco. The project immersed viewers in a space where the movement of time loses its meaning and the protagonist finds himself trapped in a closed cycle. More than 30 works created between 2022 and 2024 depict a journey from point A to point B — a search for life’s reference points that turn out to be an illusion. Despite external dynamics, the character’s inner world remains unchanged, evoking anxiety and a sense of stagnation.
The key image was the ouroboros — a serpent biting its own tail, a symbol of endless recurrence. It is echoed by Dusto’s signature circular aerosol lines and the persistent motif of the hogweed — the "fields outside the window" as a metaphor for the path. The color palette also plays a significant role: pale green hues recall the walls of public and administrative buildings, while reds suggest emergency signals and the circulatory system — yet another cyclical process.
